[ Year 9 Graphics Enterprise Challenge ]
It is with deep sadness that the staff at Bristnall Hall Technology College would like past teachers, students and ex-students to know of the death of our much-loved colleague Gill Harris. Gill passed away on 6th August after a long battle against cancer. A celebration of Gill's life was held on 26th August where about 400 mourners turned up.
A line dance and rowing fund raising event to remember Gill has been organised on 14th November for students and staff both past and present. There will also be various stalls, a raffle and other activities.
If you would like to make a donation please visit the Just Giving page, set up in memory of Gill Harris, and help us reach our fundraising target. Alternatively donations can be given directly to the charity at the Ovarian Cancer Action website.
Not as high as in 2006 and 2007 but nevertheless, many students worked hard for their success.

During the week of 7th – 11th July, Year 9 students were challenged to design and make cards. The proceeds of the sale of these cards are being used to purchase a commemorative bench in memory of Mrs. Lynn Bedford.
Lynn was one of our secretaries who tragically lost her life in a fatal road traffic accident.
The bench will be placed in the college grounds as a tribute to Lynn.
