It is recognised that Sandwell MBC is a leading authority in the field of sustainable development in education.

This award is to recognise and reward the hard work and commitment of Sandwell schools working to support this initiative and celebrate the success of sustainable development in education.

All schools within Sandwell are eligible to apply for the award.  Submissions and re-submissions are encouraged if projects can clearly show measurable development.

Schools who meet the criteria will be awarded the Charter for Sustainable Development in Education.
