Conclusion
The Lyng Estate Project, where Bowater House is sited, forms part of
the Black Country Network of Strategies to promote a sustainable
environment.
Sustainable environment means an environment that is designed to meet
the needs of people today, whilst protecting the environment for the
future and conserving the earth's natural resources.
The project meets Sandwell Council's commitment to its Agenda 21 policy
to manage and maintain our properties in an environmentally friendly
way, and to make sure that new developments are attractive and
environmentally-friendly.
